The later models of the Pzkpw IV series have become the best known and the most fequently modelled variants. These were the tanks that took part in all the bit tank battles of World War II and formed the backbone of Hitlers Panzer divisions.

This model has been reviewed a number of times, and not always complimentary. However, after many years building 1/72 aircraft I wanted something a little more substantial,”looked the part” and was easy to build – and this fitted the bill. So,
Cons. This kit was originally designed to have a motor (with associated switches) so there are hole in the bottom of the hull that will need filling. There was also a small gap evident between the upper and lower hull pieces that required a sliver of plastic sheet to fill (or filler). There are large, open gaps either side of the hull where the top meets. These had to be filled with plastic sheet. Vinyl tracks.
Pros. For it´s age (1970´s) there was no flash and only a few misalighnment marks on smaller items. Easy to build, the parts went together very easily (typical Tamiya engineering).
Overall, this was a fun build and at a cost where you can experiment with weathering etc if so desired. I am more than happy with this product and would recommend it for those wanting to start out or wanting to experiment/practice their modelling skills/techniques
