Deluxe Materials Smart Plastic is a heat-mouldable modelling plastic that becomes pliable when immersed in hot water (40–60°C / 100–140°F). Once softened, it can be shaped by hand into any desired form. Within 3–4 minutes, it sets into a tough, flexible plastic that can be re-melted as needed, offering versatility for various modelling and crafting applications.
- Safe, white modelling plastic ideal for custom fabrication, impressions, masks, moulding, prototypes, design, craft, repairs, and strengthening or filling plastics and other materials
- Quickly handleable; setting time can be accelerated by immersing in cold water
- Can be coloured with inks or acrylic paints
- Easy to cut with metal implements such as scissors or knives
Instructions: Pour Smart Plastic granules into a cup and cover with hot water (40–60°C). Allow the plastic to melt and fuse together. Extract the plastic with an implement and start moulding on a non-stick surface. Exercise caution when handling hot water. Store the product away from heat sources.
