The MiG-21 went through numerous design upgrades during its long life with the 1970 ‘SMT’ variant (NATO designation ‘Fishbed K’) incorporating improved radar, engine, cannon and increased fuel capacity. Revell’s highly detailed model features full cockpit, ejection seat, canopy (open or closed), undercarriage and gear bays, control surfaces, external fuel tanks and a substantial weapons load to choose from.
