Prices correct 12/02/2023 The above is a guide to give you an idea the cost of using these brands. Model paints cost much more to produce than ordinary household paint due to the pigment used, the pigment has to be much finer and so cost more to produce, price isn’t always a factor when choosing a paint for your model, accuracy is much more important, our best selling paints are Tamiya Mini Acrylic, Mr Hobby Aqueous, Vallejo Modelair & Model color, and AK 3rd Gen, these top brands have a wide range suitable for all model paint schemes. The price per bottle/jar doesn’t include thinning, so for example Mr Hobby paints can be thinned at around 70/30 thinner/paint, so the price for Mr Hobby per 100ml comes down to around £6.74 (including the cost of a 400ml bottle of thinners)
