Tiger 131 saw action in Tunisia during April 1943, where it faced British Churchill tanks amid difficult terrain. On 24th April, after sustaining damage from a captured anti-tank gun, the tank was abandoned by its crew and subsequently recovered by British forces. This moment marked a significant intelligence victory and cemented Tiger 131’s place in history. Now preserved at The Tank Museum, Bovington, Tiger 131 continues to captivate military historians and collectors alike.
