The BMP-3 is the latest Russian Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) it is the successor of BMP-1 and BMP-2 which were used in high numbers in the Soviet Army and worldwide.Production of BMP-3 started in 1986 service with the Russian Army in 1987. The vehicle can carry 10 people (3 crew and 7 infantrymen).The BMP-3 is one of the most heavily armed IFVs worldwide.
