Takom Plastic Model Kit
V-1 Flying Bomb with Interior (1/35)
This 1/35 scale V-1 Flying Bomb from Takom recreates the infamous unmanned German weapon also known as the “Doodlebug”. Developed in 1939 and first deployed in combat following the Normandy landings in 1944, the V-1 became one of the earliest cruise missiles, used in large numbers against London and later targets in Western Europe.
This kit includes full internal detail and offers both transparent and opaque fuselage and wing parts, allowing you to display the internal structure or build a standard exterior version. A wheeled launch trolley and photo-etched parts are included, along with four marking options.

History
The V-1, officially designated Fieseler Fi 103, was developed as part of Germany’s Vergeltungswaffen, or “vengeance weapons”. Powered by a pulsejet engine, it produced a distinctive buzzing sound that would abruptly cut out shortly before impact, a chilling warning to those below.
Beginning in June 1944, more than 9,000 V-1s were launched against London and the South East of England, causing widespread destruction and civilian casualties. As Allied forces advanced, launch sites were pushed back, and attacks were redirected toward targets in the Low Countries until the programme was finally halted shortly before the end of the war.
Although crude by modern standards, the V-1 represented a major step toward guided missile technology. Today it stands as both a technical milestone and a stark reminder of the human cost of wartime innovation.
