F3H-2N/M, improved F3H-2 version, flown on 11 January 1955, instead a Allison J71 A-2 engine, fitted An APG-51 radar and increased the 20mm cannon to four, entered squadron service in March 1956 with VF-14. F3H-2Ms was flown on 23 August 1955, used four Sperry Sparrow I (AAM-N-2), Redesignated F-3C in 1962.
