This Zvezda set includes seventeen figures made up of five different models. The Carthaginian army relied heavily on Numidian cavalry, skilled horsemen from North Africa, particularly during the early stages of the Punic Wars. They were known for their horsemanship and familiarity with the North African terrain, making them valuable for scouting, harassing Roman supply lines, and engaging in skirmishes. The cavalry often rode without bridles, showcasing their skill in controlling their mounts.
