Scale: 1:72Skill: 1Flying Hours: 1Number of Parts: 24Dimensions (mm): L122 x W186One of the most prestigious air races of its day, the MacRobertson England to Australia air race of 1934 was contested by three DH.88 Comet aircraft, with ‘Black Magic’ G-ACSP being the first to take off. Unfortunately engine problems curtailed its involvement while its sister machine ‘Grosvenor House’ won the race. G-ACSR also suffered reliability issues during the race, but its high speed still enabled it to finish in fourth position.
