History:
The Panzerkampfwagen 35(t) was originally developed as the Czechoslovak LT vz. 35 light tank, produced by Å koda in the mid-1930s. Following the German occupation of Czechoslovakia in 1939, the Wehrmacht adopted the vehicle, renaming it the Pz.Kpfw. 35(t). Deployed during the invasions of Poland and France, the tank offered reliable mobility and sufficient armour for the early stages of the war. However, by 1941 it was increasingly outclassed by Soviet armour during Operation Barbarossa, leading to its gradual withdrawal from frontline service. Despite its limitations, the 35(t) played a notable role in the rapid German advances during the early campaigns of WWII.
