History:
The M10 tank destroyer, based on the M4 Sherman chassis, was designed by the United States to provide mobile anti-tank support. Equipped with a 76.2mm gun in an open-topped turret, the M10 was effective against German armour. Under the Lend-Lease programme, the Soviet Union received several hundred M10s, where they were used on the Eastern Front to bolster anti-tank capabilities. Soviet crews adapted the vehicle to their needs, and it played an important role in combined Allied efforts, demonstrating the global cooperation that defined the war. The inclusion of Soviet figures alongside the vehicle reflects this unique chapter in armoured warfare history.
