History:
The Panzer IV was the backbone of Germany’s armoured forces during the Second World War, serving on every front from the invasion of Poland to the fall of Berlin. The Ausf. H variant, introduced in 1943, was one of the most produced versions, featuring thickened armour and Schürzen side skirts to counter anti-tank rifles and shaped charges. Armed with the effective 75mm KwK 40 L/48 gun, it was capable of engaging most Allied tanks of the time. The Panzer IV H played a central role in major battles such as Kursk, Normandy, and the Eastern Front campaigns, solidifying its reputation as one of the most versatile and enduring tanks of the war.
