History:
The Sturmgeschütz series, developed in the late 1930s, became one of the most widely produced and effective German armoured vehicles of WWII. The Sdkfz.167 variant was based on the Panzer IV chassis and was armed with a 75mm StuK 40 L/48 gun, providing formidable anti-tank capability. Rugged, low-profile, and relatively inexpensive to produce, StuGs destroyed more Allied tanks than any other German armoured vehicle. By the final years of the war, they formed the backbone of German armoured forces, proving vital in both defensive and offensive operations across Europe.
