History:
The de Havilland Mosquito, affectionately nicknamed the “Wooden Wonder,” was one of the most versatile aircraft of the Second World War. Built primarily from wood to save on strategic materials, it excelled in roles ranging from bomber and reconnaissance to night fighter and target tug. The B.XVI variant served as a high-altitude bomber, while the later B.35 and TT.35 models continued in RAF service into the post-war years. Renowned for its speed, agility, and precision, the Mosquito earned a lasting reputation as one of the most remarkable aircraft designs of its era.
