The AK P1200-1500 Grit Sponge set includes six ultra-fine flexible sanding sponges designed for final surface refinement and polishing before paint. This grit range is ideal for removing very light scratches, smoothing primer coats, and preparing delicate surfaces where aggressive sanding would be too much.
Each sponge is made from high-durability material that bends easily around curves and complex shapes, making them perfect for aircraft fuselages, vehicle bodies, and rounded parts. They can also be trimmed with scissors or a knife for detailed areas, giving you precise control during finishing work.

This is the polish stage. Perfect for that last gentle pass before colour goes down, or for smoothing clear parts and glossy finishes. With this added to the P400, P500-600, and P800-1000 sets, you’ve got a full, sensible sanding progression that covers almost everything a bench throws at you.
