A.MIG-7332 Matt Shader Set Flesh Shadow
This set of three flesh-toned Matt Shaders is specially formulated for shading and detailing skin areas on busts, figures, and miniatures perfect for both historical and fantasy subjects. These tones enhance contrast, add volume, and create natural transitions in skin tones, whether applied with a brush or airbrush.
Featuring a matte and transparent finish, these acrylic colours behave like inks but become water-resistant once fully cured. They provide rich pigment intensity and soft gradients ideal for flesh tones, without the risks associated with traditional inks. When touch-dry but not yet cured, they remain workable and can be removed with water for adjustments or corrections.
The dead matt finish is particularly suited to outlining features, shading recesses, or adding warmth and shadow to skin surfaces. They can also be used to subtly tint base coats or create staining effects. For additional transparency, dilute using A.MIG-2000 Acrylic Thinner, A.MIG-2016/2017 Transparator, or A.MIG-2042/2043 Transparator Matt.
Apply over a matte acrylic base using 1.5 kg/cm² (21 psi) air pressure. Vary the airbrush distance for precision or broader coverage. Allow each layer to dry for at least 12 hours, or seal with matt varnish before applying further effects. Avoid handling the model until fully cured to preserve the finish.
