Bandai Gundam Gunpla
FAZZ Version Ka (1/100)
This Master Grade 1/100 FAZZ Version Ka kit brings a heavily armoured mobile suit from Gundam Gunpla into a highly detailed and complex build. Based on its appearance in Gundam Sentinel and interpreted by Hajime Katoki, the design emphasises layered armour and heavy weaponry. The kit is moulded in colour and designed for snap-fit assembly, allowing for a detailed construction without the need for glue while still offering a more involved build experience.
The additional armour is engineered to allow movement without restricting articulation, with features such as rolling forearms and flexible leg armour. Missile pods with opening hatches add extra detail and display options, while the internal structure supports the weight and complexity of the design. It feels like a kit that focuses on presence and mechanical detail, making it a strong display piece once completed.

History:
The FAZZ, or Full Armour ZZ, originates from Gundam Sentinel as a heavily armed test unit derived from the ZZ Gundam concept. Designed to evaluate the performance of full armour configurations, it sacrifices mobility for increased firepower and protection. Its distinctive bulk and weapon loadout make it one of the most imposing designs in the Gundam lineup. Interpreted through Hajime Katoki’s Version Ka styling, the FAZZ has become a popular subject for Gunpla builders, representing both the experimental nature of mobile suit development and the appeal of heavily armoured designs within the Universal Century timeline.
