Bandai Gundam Gunpla
RX-78-2 Gundam Ver.3.0 (1/100)
This Master Grade 1/100 RX-78-2 Gundam Ver.3.0 kit presents a refined interpretation of one of the most iconic mobile suits in the Gundam Gunpla range. Based on the original Mobile Suit Gundam design, this version updates the classic look with enhanced mechanical detail and more advanced engineering. The kit is moulded in colour and designed for snap-fit assembly, offering a detailed and structured build without the need for glue.
The internal frame has been reworked to provide improved articulation and more natural movement, allowing for a wide range of dynamic poses. The layered construction gives the model a more realistic mechanical appearance, while still maintaining the recognisable silhouette of the RX-78-2. History:
The RX-78-2 Gundam is the central mobile suit from the original Mobile Suit Gundam series, piloted by Amuro Ray. Developed by the Earth Federation during the One Year War, it introduced advanced technologies such as beam weaponry and a learning computer system. Its success in combat helped shape the outcome of the conflict and established the Gundam as a symbol of technological advancement. Over time, the RX-78-2 has become one of the most recognisable designs in the franchise, often referred to as the “Grandpa Gundam” by fans, and continues to be a cornerstone of the Gunpla lineup.
