1/35 scale plastic model kit of the Ukrainian-operated FV103 CVR(T) Spartan armoured personnel carrier, produced by Gecko Models. This release represents the vehicle as seen in recent service, adapted for modern conflict conditions and armed with a heavy machine gun.
The kit includes finely moulded plastic parts supported by photo-etched details to enhance exterior fittings and smaller components. A .50 calibre machine gun is provided to accurately depict the up-armed configuration seen on operational vehicles. Decals are included to represent Ukrainian markings, allowing the model to be finished as a contemporary battlefield subject.

History: The FV103 Spartan is part of the British-designed CVR(T) family of light armoured vehicles, originally developed during the Cold War for reconnaissance and support roles. Compact, fast, and highly mobile, the Spartan was designed to transport small teams and equipment while operating alongside reconnaissance units. In more recent years, surviving CVR(T) vehicles have seen renewed operational use after being transferred to allied forces. In Ukrainian service, the Spartan has been adapted for modern battlefield conditions during the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, often fitted with heavier armament and field modifications that reflect the realities of contemporary armoured warfare.
