GreenStuffWorld Modelling Tool
Refillable Markers 1 – Detail (5 Units) (14193)
The GreenStuffWorld Refillable Markers Size 1 are designed to give miniature painters and modellers a flexible, reusable way to apply paint directly from a pen. Instead of being locked into pre-filled colours, these markers allow you to load your own paints, inks, metallics, or custom mixes, turning them into precision painting tools for detailing, basecoating, and controlled colour application.
Each marker uses a felt tip designed for defined contours and smooth transitions in small to medium areas, making Size 1 ideal for painting miniatures, edge work, and general detailing. Thanks to the refillable system, you can reuse the markers indefinitely, avoiding waste from dried-out pens while opening up unlimited colour possibilities.
The markers maintain a constant paint flow, removing the need for brush loading, palettes, or frequent rinsing. This makes them especially useful for fast workflows, travel painting, or quick touch-ups. Inside each marker is a stainless steel mixing cylinder, allowing the paint to be shaken and kept evenly blended at all times.

Refilling is simple: unscrew the cap, remove the internal dispenser, and pour in your chosen paint. Many products such as acrylic inks, airbrush paints, speedpaints, and alcohol-based paints can be added directly. Thicker paints can be diluted to suit, typically around 50% for standard acrylics and around 25% for metallics, allowing you to fine-tune flow depending on your technique.
For best results with contrast-style or dipping inks, it’s recommended to apply them over light surfaces or white primer to achieve stronger, more vibrant colour.
Replacement tips and internal sponges are available separately, allowing worn parts to be refreshed or colours changed without buying new markers, making this a durable long-term system rather than a disposable tool.
This Size 1 Detail set sits right in the sweet spot, precise enough for controlled work, but still fast for small areas. Once you get used to painting straight from your own mixes, it becomes oddly addictive. Less setup, more painting, and a lot more freedom to experiment.
If you’ve got the other sizes coming (0.5, 0.7, or Size 2), send them over. Together they make a surprisingly powerful alternative to traditional brush workflows.
