History:
The BMW 2002 Turbo was introduced in 1973 as a high-performance version of the popular 2002 series. It was the first European production car to feature a turbocharger, delivering significantly increased power and performance compared to its naturally aspirated counterparts.
With its aggressive styling, including wide arches and bold graphics, the 2002 Turbo quickly became an icon of the era. Although production was limited due to economic conditions at the time, it remains one of BMW’s most celebrated models and a key milestone in the development of turbocharged road cars.
