This Hataka paint set provides the full selection of colours used in the MERDC camouflage system introduced by the U.S. Army in the mid-1970s. Developed by the Mobility Equipment Research & Design Command, the MERDC scheme allowed crews to adapt vehicle camouflage to different climates by swapping one or two colours while keeping the overall pattern consistent.
