SMS Hyperchrome Dark Tone is part of the advanced Hyperchrome paint range from The Scale Modellers Supply. Using modern pigment technology, this chrome effect paint is formulated to deliver a highly reflective metallic finish with minimal effort when applied through an airbrush.
The paint is supplied airbrush-ready and performs best when sprayed lightly at low pressure. Applying Hyperchrome over a smooth gloss black base coat helps achieve the strongest chrome effect, while different gloss base colours can be used to subtly adjust the final tone and appearance of the metallic finish.
