History:
Introduced in 1951, the F-84G represented one of the final and most advanced versions of the Republic Thunderjet series. Serving throughout the early Cold War, it played an important role during the Korean War and became a cornerstone of NATO air power under the Mutual Defence Assistance program. Beyond the USAF, it equipped numerous allied forces, including the Italian Air Force from 1952 onwards. The Thunderjet’s combination of speed, range, and heavy ordnance capacity made it a versatile and respected aircraft in the early jet age.
