The Jagdpanzer 38(t), widely known as the Hetzer, was one of the most effective and widely produced German tank destroyers of World War II. Based on the Czechoslovakian Panzer 38(t) chassis, it combined sloped armour, compact profile, and a powerful 75mm gun, making it ideal for ambush tactics on the Eastern and Western Fronts. Its small silhouette made it difficult to spot, while its low production cost ensured widespread deployment.
