Master Box Plastic Model Kit
Long Distance Raid, Child Of Hope (1/35)
This 1/35 scale figure set presents a narrative-driven scene inspired by British long range desert patrols during the Second World War. Rather than focusing purely on combat, the set captures a quieter, more human moment encountered during long operations deep behind enemy lines.
The figures are sculpted with expressive poses and interaction, making the set particularly suited to storytelling dioramas. It works well in isolation as a small vignette or as part of a wider desert scene involving patrol vehicles, temporary camps or supply stops.

History
British long range desert units, such as the Long Range Desert Group, operated far behind Axis lines during the North African campaign. Using lightly equipped vehicles, they conducted reconnaissance, raids and supply disruption across vast, hostile terrain.
These patrols often encountered civilians, prisoners and the human cost of war in remote locations, moments that stood in stark contrast to the speed and violence of mechanised desert warfare. Survival depended on cooperation, restraint and judgement as much as firepower.
This figure set reflects that lesser-seen side of desert operations, focusing on the human stories that emerged during long distance raids and the fragile moments of hope found amid the realities of war.
