MisterCraft Plastic Model Kit
RAF P-51 Mustang Mk IVa Silver P-51K (1/48) F-274
This 1/48 scale RAF P-51 Mustang Mk IVa represents the British operated version of the legendary American fighter. The P-51K variant featured a different propeller assembly and served with the Royal Air Force under the designation Mustang Mk IVa, often seen in natural metal or silver finish schemes during the final stages of the Second World War.
The kit contains 80 parts and builds into a model approximately 205mm in length with a wingspan of 226mm. Surface detail reflects the sleek laminar flow wing and streamlined fuselage that made the Mustang one of the most effective long range escort fighters of the war. A full build guide and colour paint guide are included, along with detailed decals.

History
The North American P-51 Mustang became one of the most important Allied fighters of the Second World War. With its long range and high speed performance, it was crucial in escorting bomber formations deep into enemy territory.
The P-51K variant, equipped with an Aeroproducts propeller, was delivered to both the United States Army Air Forces and the Royal Air Force. In RAF service as the Mustang Mk IVa, it continued the Mustang legacy of air superiority and ground attack operations in the final year of the war.
