History:
The BMW M4 GT3 made its competition debut in 2021 as the latest addition to BMW’s long line of successful touring and GT racing machinery. Powered by a 2,993 cc inline six-cylinder engine producing up to 590 hp, the M4 GT3 was developed to compete across global GT3 series. It quickly proved its capability, achieving strong results in Europe, the United States, and Japan. In the 2022 DTM season, the car gained significant attention when Sheldon van der Linde of Schubert Motorsport delivered a consistent and commanding performance. Multiple wins and podium finishes helped secure him the championship title, while Schubert Motorsport also topped the team standings. The season highlighted the strength, balance, and reliability of the M4 GT3, reinforcing BMW’s deep heritage in high-performance touring car racing.
