The OcCre Flexible Sander is designed for smoothing hull frames after they have been assembled, when the structure starts to become a single flowing shape rather than a collection of parts. At that stage, straight tools stop making sense, because the hull is all about curves.
This sander bends and follows those contours, allowing you to even out transitions between frames and remove high spots without flattening the overall shape. It is especially useful just before planking, when you want the surface to feel continuous and fair from bow to stern.
