This 1/35 scale kit from Panda Model represents the VPK-7829 Bumerang armoured personnel carrier, also known as Object K-16. Developed as part of Russia’s next-generation family of wheeled armoured vehicles, the Bumerang was designed to replace older BTR platforms with a more modern, modular and survivable design.
Characterised by its large wheeled chassis, rear troop compartment and modular armour layout, the Bumerang reflects a shift towards greater crew protection and battlefield flexibility. Panda Model captures these features with sharply moulded plastic parts and well-defined surface detail, with photo-etched components included to enhance finer external areas.

This model kit requires assembly and painting. Glue, paints and tools are not included and must be purchased separately.

Although still limited in service, the K-16 has become a recognisable example of contemporary armoured vehicle design and makes an interesting subject for a modern military modelling project.
