Revell Plastic Model Kit
Corvette C8 Convertible (1/25)
This 1/25 scale model kit from Revell represents the Corvette C8 Convertible, the open top version of the eighth generation Corvette introduced in 2020. The C8 marked a major shift in the Corvette lineage by adopting a mid engine layout, giving the car a completely new design and improved handling characteristics. The kit captures the distinctive low profile bodywork, wide stance and aerodynamic styling that define this modern American sports car.
The model includes a detailed multi part V8 engine along with carefully moulded body panels, interior components and wheels. The hood can be displayed open to reveal the engine detail, while the cockpit and exterior surfaces are reproduced with realistic proportions. History:
The eighth generation Corvette, known as the C8, was introduced by Chevrolet in 2020 and represented the biggest engineering change in the history of the Corvette line. For the first time, the car adopted a mid engine layout, placing the V8 engine behind the driver to improve balance, traction and overall performance. This change transformed the Corvette into a true supercar competitor while maintaining its reputation for strong performance at a comparatively accessible price.
The Corvette C8 Convertible features a folding hardtop roof that allows the car to transition between coupe like styling and open top driving. With its sharp lines, wide stance and powerful V8 engine, the C8 quickly became one of the most recognisable modern American sports cars and a symbol of the Corvette brand’s continued evolution.
