V-1 (Fieseler Fi103) (1/48) 61052
The Fieseler Fi103, more commonly known as the V-1 flying bomb, was Germany’s pioneering cruise missile of the Second World War. Developed as part of the Vergeltungswaffe program, it was designed to strike Allied cities with unprecedented speed and range. Powered by a pulsejet engine and launched from catapult ramps or aircraft, the V-1 could travel at speeds of around 640 km/h with a range of approximately 250 km. Its distinctive buzzing sound earned it the nickname “buzz bomb” among Allied troops and civilians.
