The chariot was one of the earliest mobile instruments of war, transforming ancient battlefields with speed, shock and tactical flexibility. First appearing thousands of years ago following the domestication of the horse and the invention of the wheel, the chariot quickly became a dominant force across the eastern Mediterranean and into Northern Europe during the Bronze Age.
This 28mm plastic set represents a typical Bronze Age design, light yet structurally robust, capable of delivering warriors swiftly into combat before withdrawing just as quickly. Whether used for fast attack roles or as mobile weapons platforms, chariots symbolised power and status as much as battlefield effectiveness.
The box includes three multi-part chariots that can be built in either enclosed or open-sided configurations, along with six multi-part horses. Crew figures are not included, allowing you to customise the chariots with Bronze Age warriors, later historical troops, or even fantasy characters depending on your chosen setting.
