This sleek, futuristic aircraft held great promise as a high-speed interceptor, capable of reaching over 600 mph. The Ho 229 demonstrated impressive performance during test flights, with its flying wing configuration and use of wooden construction as innovative solutions to reduce radar detection. Historians believe the Ho 229 could have become a formidable wonder weapon had the Nazis been able to invest more resources into its development. However, for modellers, this iconic aircraft is now available in 1/48 scale, with not just one but two highly detailed kit versions to choose from.
