The AK Steel Bristle Pencil is a heavy duty scratch brush designed for rapid cleaning, derusting, hard scribing, and surface preparation across a wide range of materials. Using a propelling pencil style mechanism, the exposed steel fibres can be adjusted to control how aggressive the brush feels, with shorter fibres delivering maximum scraping power.
This version features the hardest bristles in the range, making it ideal for tougher tasks such as deep cleaning contacts, preparing metal surfaces, removing stubborn residue, and creating scratches or texture in plastic, resin, or foam for modelling and scenery work. The swivel mechanism at the end of the pen allows the brush to be pushed out or retracted, keeping the tip protected when not in use.
