History:
The Nissan Skyline KHGC210, introduced in 1977, was part of the fourth generation of Skylines, often referred to as the “Skyline Japan” due to its marketing slogan at the time. The 2000GT-E S variant featured fuel-injection technology, providing smoother performance and improved efficiency compared to carburetted versions. With its bold, angular styling and focus on comfort as well as performance, the KHGC210 appealed to a wide range of drivers in Japan’s rapidly modernising car market. While not as track-focused as the earlier GT-R models, the 2000GT-E S represented a balance of sophistication and capability, reflecting the growing demand for refined yet sporty saloons. Today, the KHGC210 stands as a classic example of late-70s Japanese motoring design, admired for its distinctive look and place in the Skyline’s storied evolution.
