Dragon Plastic Model Kit
Panzergrenadier Arnhem 1944 (1/35)
This 1/35 scale Dragon figure kit represents German Panzergrenadiers during the fighting around Arnhem in 1944. The figures are posed to reflect combat conditions typical of late war engagements, with natural stances and equipment arranged to suggest movement, defence, and coordination under pressure.
Uniform details and personal gear are accurately rendered for the period, capturing the practical appearance of infantry operating alongside armoured units. History: The Battle of Arnhem formed a key part of Operation Market Garden in September 1944, an ambitious Allied attempt to secure a series of bridges and open a rapid route into Germany. German Panzergrenadier units played a significant role in containing and counterattacking Allied airborne forces around Arnhem. Often fighting in urban areas and improvised defensive positions, these infantry units combined mobility with firepower, operating alongside armoured formations in a series of hard fought engagements that ultimately halted the Allied advance.
