History:
The Suzuki RG series dominated Grand Prix motorcycle racing during the late 1970s and early 1980s, securing multiple manufacturer championships in the 500cc class. The RG500 Gamma, in particular, became a benchmark for performance and engineering, winning both rider and manufacturer titles in the early 1980s.
Building on this success, Suzuki introduced the RG400 Gamma as a road-going version that closely mirrored its racing counterpart. Featuring similar engine characteristics and chassis design, it became one of the most authentic race replicas of its time. The RG400 Gamma remains highly regarded for its connection to Suzuki’s racing heritage and its role in shaping the race replica era.
