This 1/72 scale plastic model kit from Hasegawa represents the VF-19EF/A “Isamu Special” as seen in the climactic battle of the Macross Frontier movie “Sayonara no Tsubasa.” Flown by Isamu Dyson after joining S.M.S., this customised Valkyrie features distinctive enhancements and a bold colour scheme that sets it apart from standard units.
The kit includes newly moulded parts to reproduce the super pack equipment fitted to the legs and shoulders. Super parts originally developed for the VF-25 are adapted for use on the main wing through new attachment components, allowing accurate representation of the movie configuration. A pilot figure in S.M.S flight suit is also included. The dynamic package illustration is by Hidetaka Tenjin.
