History: The Autocannone 3Ro was an Italian adaptation of the Fiat 3Ro heavy truck, modified to mount an anti-aircraft or anti-tank gun on its flatbed, effectively transforming it into a mobile artillery platform. It saw extensive use in North Africa, where its mobility and firepower were highly valued in desert warfare. The accompanying 3Ro ammo carrier variant provided logistical support, transporting ammunition and supplies to frontline units. Together, these vehicles highlight Italy’s ingenuity in repurposing transport trucks for combat effectiveness under challenging conditions.
This model kit requires assembly and painting. Glue, paints and tools are not included and must be purchased separately.
