History
The RF-101 Voodoo was developed from the original fighter design to fulfil the need for a fast, high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft. Stripped of heavy armament and equipped with advanced camera systems in the nose, it became one of the primary tactical reconnaissance platforms of the United States Air Force.
RF-101 variants saw service in several theatres, including Southeast Asia, where their speed and altitude performance were essential for survival in contested airspace.
