MisterCraft Plastic Model Kit
Fairey Fulmar Mk.1 / Mk.2 (1/72) D-217
This 1/72 scale Fairey Fulmar from MisterCraft represents the British Fleet Air Arm carrier based fighter in both Mk.1 and Mk.2 configurations. The Fulmar was a two seat naval fighter designed to operate from aircraft carriers and serve in both reconnaissance and fighter roles.
The model captures the distinctive long fuselage and mid mounted wings of the Fulmar, along with its two seat cockpit arrangement. Surface detailing reflects the panel layout and control surfaces typical of early war naval aircraft. A full build guide and colour paint guide are included to assist with assembly and finishing.

History
The Fairey Fulmar entered service with the Royal Navy in 1940. Although not as fast or manoeuvrable as some single seat fighters, it offered long range and carried a navigator, making it well suited to naval reconnaissance and fleet defence duties.
Fulmars saw service in the Mediterranean, North Africa, and the Indian Ocean during the early years of the Second World War, playing an important role in carrier based operations before being replaced by more advanced types.
