This 1/72 scale Tigre HAP from MisterCraft represents the Eurocopter EC665 Tiger, a modern twin engine attack helicopter developed by France and Germany. Designed during the late Cold War as an anti tank platform, the aircraft evolved into a multirole combat helicopter capable of armed reconnaissance and close air support.
The model captures the distinctive narrow fuselage, tandem cockpit layout and four blade main rotor of the Tiger. The HAP configuration reflects the armed support variant operated by European forces. History
The Eurocopter Tiger first entered service in 2003. Originally conceived as a dedicated anti tank helicopter for use in Europe, its development continued after the end of the Cold War, with France and Germany adapting the design for broader operational roles.
The aircraft achieved full operational capability in 2008 and has since served with several European and international armed forces, taking part in overseas deployments and multinational operations.
