Das Werks 1/16 PAK 40 artillery kit offers a superbly detailed representation of the iconic 7.5 cm anti-tank gun in both mid war and late war configurations. The versatile 2 in 1 design allows you to build either the earlier mid production version with simpler shield layout or the late production variant featuring reinforced shield and revised trail assembly. True-to-scale detailing brings this classic gun to lifeideal for standalone display, gun emplacement scenes, or diorama integrated with crew figures.

• Build options: mid production shield or late production reinforced shield version
• Fully detailed barrel, breech assembly, recoil mechanism, and delivering trochanter wheel hubs

Historical Background:

The 7.5 cm PAK 40 was the primary German anti-tank artillery piece from mid 1942 through the end of WWII. The mid production variant featured a standard flat shield, while the late production version introduced a strengthened shield and simplified trail design under wartime production pressures. Highly effective against Allied armor, the PAK 40 was widely used on all fronts.
