Dirtveil Wash adds natural earth tones and soft, realistic shading to miniatures and models. Its muted pigments flow smoothly into recesses, creating convincing dirt deposits, dust shadows, and worn-in textures on armour, machinery, clothing, and scenic elements. The tone blends easily with a wide range of base colours, helping you build grounded, believable weathering effects.
The matte acrylic formula dries slowly, giving you generous working time to refine transitions, lift excess pigment, or shape the effect exactly where you want it. Low odour makes it comfortable for long painting sessions, and the brush-friendly flow offers precise control. Dirtveil Wash can be used alone for light soiling or layered with other tones for richer weathering.
