Standard Rust Wash (18ml)
Standard Rust Wash is designed to replicate natural rust tones with ease, adding warm shading and aged-weathering effects to your miniatures and models. Its earthy pigments settle smoothly into recesses and textured surfaces, helping you create convincing oxidation on metal parts, armour plates, machinery, and scenic elements. The tone works equally well for subtle wear or heavier corroded finishes.
The matte acrylic formula dries slowly, giving you plenty of time to adjust pooling, blend transitions, or remove excess pigment. Low odour and brush-friendly behaviour make it comfortable to use during long painting sessions, and it layers beautifully with other washes to build up realistic multi-tone rust effects.
