The Sd.Kfz.251 series was one of the most versatile armoured vehicles used by German forces during WWII, with numerous variants adapted for different battlefield roles. The /9 version, sometimes referred to as the “Stummel”, was developed to provide direct fire support using a short-barrelled 75mm gun. This allowed infantry units to engage fortified positions and light armour more effectively. Widely used in the later stages of the war, the Sd.Kfz.251/9 highlights how existing vehicle platforms were adapted to meet changing tactical needs. This model reflects that evolution, offering a detailed representation of a key support vehicle from the period.
