History
The Ki67 entered service in 1944 and was developed as a fast, well-protected heavy bomber capable of withstanding combat conditions. Unlike many earlier Japanese bombers, it featured improved defensive armament and armour protection for crew members.
In addition to conventional bombing missions, the Ki67 was adapted for special attack roles late in the war. Aircraft of the 74th Flight Regiment operated during the final stages of the conflict, reflecting the increasingly desperate conditions faced by Japanese forces in 1945.
