No-Peel Primer No.6 Mahogany Brown (30ml)
VMS No-Peel Primer No.6 Mahogany Brown is a high-performance, water-based modelling primer that combines solvent-grade adhesion with an easy, odourless application. It bonds securely to plastic, resin, metal and 3D printed parts, creating a tough foundation that resists lifting during masking and handling.
The rich mahogany brown tone is ideal for wooden surfaces, cockpit interiors, figures and warm base coats on armour subjects. It also works beautifully as a modulation layer beneath lighter colours, adding natural depth while preserving fine surface detail. Supplied pre-thinned for airbrush use, it sprays straight from the bottle through 0.2mm to 0.4mm nozzles with smooth, self-levelling coverage.
Natural drying typically takes 20 to 40 minutes, or under 3 minutes with forced airflow. Painting can begin after around two hours of natural curing, or approximately 30 minutes when assisted. Cleanup is quick and simple using tap water, making it practical for regular airbrush sessions.
